BobbyDope, our first-place sharpshooter, couldn't contain his excitement about the event. "The most exciting part was meeting the people on voice chat which I connected with the last few weeks on Discord and having laughter and a few fun matches together," he shared. It's clear that Chalk River isn't just about the bullets flying – it's about the bonds forged in the heat of battle!
Our runner-up, CryptoKire, found his most exciting moment amid the furious combat when he “got a kill streak going". That's the kind of adrenaline rush only Chalk River can deliver!
Strategy in the Wild West
When it comes to winning strategies, our champions didn't hold back. BobbyDope revealed an unexpected ace up his sleeve: "Actually, it was respawn points... you can ask everyone on the server that I was unbelievably lucky with spawn positions." Talk about lady luck riding shotgun!
CryptoKire, on the other hand, relied on good old-fashioned gunslinging skills. "I start off with pistol for long-range sniping, then switch to shotgun for close-range shootouts," he explained. A true marksman knows his weapons.

The Chalk River Difference
What sets Chalk River apart from the herd? BobbyDope didn't mince words: "What sets Chalk River apart and why I enjoy it this much is because it's based on aiming and movement. If you aim and watch your position better than the enemy you win, if the enemy does it better, he wins. There is no cheesing with abilities or unbalanced items."
CryptoKire added his take: "It feels like a Western, where you can't sprint and aim/shoot at the same time, so you have to be strategic when to be slow to fight back." It's this attention to authentic Wild West action that makes Chalk River a cut above the rest!
Challenges in the Chaos
Even for our champions, the path to victory wasn't without its hurdles. CryptoKire found the every-man-for-himself nature of the Deathmatch particularly challenging. "Often I would be focused on shooting one person, only for someone else to shoot me in the back," he admitted. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there in Chalk River!
BobbyDope felt the heat throughout the entire match. "Throughout the whole game I was challenged and impressed by everyone, I always felt the pressure of a classic Deathmatch game where you see yourself in 1st position on the board but 2nd, 3rd, 4th are closing in with points," he recalled. Now that's what we call a nail-biter!
Looking to the Horizon
With their victories secure, our champions are already eyeing the next showdown. BobbyDope is all about the camaraderie: "Looking forward to having a blast again with the discord gang, hearing people crumble under the pressure, laughing together about it, and having an enjoyable time."
CryptoKire, meanwhile, is ready to saddle up with some partners. "I look forward to team tournaments and partnering up with a gang of outlaws," he declared. Sounds like we've got some posses forming for the next Rumble!
